Terms of Use and Service – IN Spaces

Last updated: September 16, 2026

OVERVIEW

Welcome to IN Spaces.

The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to IN Spaces. We operate this website to showcase and provide our interior design, planning, consulting, and, where applicable, project coordination services.

Our site is hosted on Shopify, which provides us with the platform to showcase and offer certain services.

By using our website or purchasing a service from IN Spaces, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and the policies referenced herein.

ARTICLE 1 – OUR SERVICES

IN Spaces offers interior design services, which may include:

  • interior design consultations;
  • space design and layout;
  • design plans and documents;
  • visual concepts and proposals;
  • 3D renderings;
  • selection of colors, finishes, and materials;
  • selection of furniture, lighting, and accessories;
  • kitchen and bathroom design;
  • product and supplier recommendations;
  • support for renovation projects;
  • coordination of certain suppliers or professionals;
  • remote or online design services.

The exact scope of the service is determined by the package, estimate, proposal, or contract accepted by the client.

Any service not expressly included in the scope of the project may be subject to additional fees.

ARTICLE 2 – CONSULTATION AND INFORMATION PROVIDED BY THE CLIENT

The client agrees to provide accurate and sufficiently complete information regarding their project, including available dimensions, photographs, existing plans, budget, and relevant needs and constraints.

When services are provided remotely and measurements are supplied by the client, the client is responsible for their accuracy.

IN Spaces cannot be held liable for any design errors resulting directly from inaccurate information, measurements, or documents provided by the client.

When necessary, we may recommend that a qualified professional verify certain dimensions or conditions on-site prior to manufacturing, ordering, or installation.

ARTICLE 3 – QUOTATION AND PROJECT ACCEPTANCE

A quotation, proposal, or contract may be provided to the client prior to the start of a project.

The document may specify, among other things:

the scope of the project, the services included, the deliverables, the number of revisions, the fees, the estimated timeline, and the terms of payment.

The project begins upon acceptance of the applicable terms and, when required, receipt of the payment or down payment specified.

Any request that exceeds the initially agreed-upon scope may be subject to a quote or additional fees.

ARTICLE 4 – PRICES AND PAYMENTS

The prices for services are listed on our website, in a proposal, a quote, or a contract.

Applicable taxes may be added when required by law.

Depending on the nature of the project, IN Spaces may request:

full payment before the service begins, a down payment followed by a final payment, or several payments corresponding to the different stages of the project.

The exact terms will be communicated to the client before the project begins.

Services already performed remain payable even if the client subsequently decides to terminate the project, subject to the rights provided for by applicable law.

ARTICLE 5 – CANCELLATION AND REFUND

Cancellations and refunds are governed by our Return, Cancellation, and Refund Policy.

When a client cancels a project after work has begun, services already performed and authorized expenses incurred for the project may be billed.

Plans, renderings, concepts, and other customized deliverables that have already been produced are generally non-refundable for the portion of the work already completed, subject to the rights granted to the consumer under applicable law.

ARTICLE 6 – REVISIONS AND MODIFICATIONS

Each service or package may include a specified number of revisions.

Revisions allow the client to request reasonable adjustments to the proposed design within the limits of the project’s initial scope.

Significant changes in direction, new requests, or additional revisions may result in additional fees.

IN Spaces will notify the client when their request exceeds the initially agreed-upon scope and requires additional fees.

ARTICLE 7 – PROJECT TIMELINES

The timelines provided for the completion of a project are estimates, unless a firm date is expressly agreed upon in writing.

Certain timelines may be affected by circumstances beyond our control, including:

response or approval times from the client, requested changes, the availability of products or materials, delays on the part of suppliers or contractors, and other circumstances reasonably beyond the control of IN Spaces.

A significant change in the scope of the project may also result in a change to the timeline.

ARTICLE 8 – 3D RENDERINGS AND VISUAL REPRESENTATIONS

3D renderings, conceptual images, mood boards, and other visual representations are intended to help the client understand the proposed concept.

The colors, textures, proportions, or appearances shown may differ slightly from the actual result due, in particular, to screens, lighting, available materials, and manufacturing methods.

A rendering is a representation of the concept and not a guaranteed photograph of the final result.

ARTICLE 9 – PRODUCTS, MATERIALS, AND FURNITURE

IN Spaces may recommend furniture, materials, lighting fixtures, accessories, equipment, or other products from third-party suppliers.

The availability, prices, and specifications of these products are subject to change by the suppliers without notice.

When the client purchases directly from a supplier, the sales contract is entered into between the client and that supplier.

Warranties, returns, exchanges, and refunds related to the product are then subject to the terms and conditions of the relevant supplier.

When a product becomes unavailable, IN Spaces may propose a reasonable alternative, which remains subject to the client’s approval if it results in a significant change to the project or the price.

ARTICLE 10 – CONTRACTORS AND THIRD-PARTY PROFESSIONALS

As part of a project, IN Spaces may recommend or collaborate with general contractors, plumbers, electricians, painters, manufacturers, installers, suppliers, or other professionals.

When these professionals are independent businesses and the client enters into a contract directly with them, they remain responsible for their own services, work, insurance, warranties, permits, and professional obligations.

IN Spaces’ role may be limited to design, recommendations, and, when provided for in the contract, certain coordination tasks.

The coordination of a contractor does not automatically mean that IN Spaces assumes professional or contractual liability for the contractor’s work.

ARTICLE 11 – CONSTRUCTION WORK AND EXISTING CONDITIONS

Interior design services do not replace services that must legally or professionally be performed by an architect, engineer, contractor, or other qualified professional when such services are required.

Before carrying out structural, electrical, plumbing, or other regulated work, the client and the relevant professionals must ensure that the work complies with applicable requirements.

Existing conditions not visible at the time of design may require changes to the project.

ARTICLE 12 – CLIENT APPROVAL

Certain stages of the project may require the client’s approval before proceeding.

The client is responsible for reviewing the documents presented to them and promptly reporting any desired changes.

After a design, product, color, material, or order has been approved, any changes requested by the client may result in additional costs or delays.

ARTICLE 13 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The concepts, plans, drawings, renderings, presentations, graphic documents, and other creations developed by IN Spaces are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment for a service entitles the client to use the deliverables provided for the project for which they were created.

The client may not resell, commercially reproduce, or present IN Spaces’ creations as the creations of a third party without authorization.

 ARTICLE 14 – PORTFOLIO AND PHOTOGRAPHS

IN Spaces may wish to feature certain completed projects in its portfolio, on its website, or on its social media accounts.

When photographs allow for the identification of the client, their residence, or personal information, their use will be in accordance with the required consents and applicable privacy laws.

ARTICLE 15 – REMOTE SERVICES

Certain services may be performed entirely remotely.

In such cases, recommendations are based on the information, photographs, videos, measurements, and documents provided by the client.

The client must ensure the accuracy of the information provided before IN Spaces begins the design process.

IN Spaces may request a professional verification of the dimensions prior to the fabrication or installation of custom-made items.

ARTICLE 16 – INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY OF THE WEBSITE

The original content on the IN Spaces website, including text, images, logos, graphics, concepts, renderings, and design elements owned by IN Spaces, may not be reproduced or used for commercial purposes without prior authorization, except where such use is permitted by law.

Trademarks and content belonging to Shopify, suppliers, or other third parties remain the property of their respective owners.

ARTICLE 17 – CONFIDENTIALITY

Personal information collected by IN Spaces is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable laws.

Certain information may also be processed by Shopify or by service providers necessary for the operation of the website and the processing of transactions.

ARTICLE 18 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the extent permitted by law, IN Spaces shall not be held liable for the acts or omissions of a supplier or independent contractor with whom the customer has entered into an agreement directly.

IN Spaces does not guarantee the continuous availability of a recommended product or the absence of variations between a sample, a digital rendering, and the actual material.

However, no provision of these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any liability or consumer right that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

ARTICLE 19 – USE OF THE SITE

You agree to use our site solely for lawful purposes.

You may not use the site to infringe upon the rights of IN Spaces or third parties, transmit malware, attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, or illegally reproduce our content.

ARTICLE 20 – SHOPIFY

Our store and certain features of our website are powered by Shopify.

Shopify provides the technology platform used by IN Spaces, but the interior design services purchased from IN Spaces are provided by IN Spaces in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions.

Certain data necessary for the operation of the website and the processing of transactions may be processed by Shopify in accordance with its own policies.

ARTICLE 21 – MODIFICATION OF THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS

IN Spaces may modify these Terms and Conditions to reflect changes to its services, its operations, or applicable legal requirements.

The most recent version will be posted on our website.

When the law requires that a modification be communicated to the customer or be subject to specific consent, IN Spaces will comply with these requirements.

ARTICLE 22 – GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which IN Spaces conducts its business, subject to any mandatory consumer protection rules that may apply depending on the customer’s place of residence and the nature of the contract.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to deprive a consumer of the rights granted to them under applicable law.
